here's the thing..

research is really driving me nuts! so much to do, so little time. ugh. hate it..

so yeah.. because of research, we had to visit the City Library. we were late, though. then we decided to go to the WMSU Library. and yeah, we were late, too. so we decided to go town. (btw, i was with cyril and deb). we had to ride a jeep and that's were the crazy realization started to hit me..

the jeep we got on was, surprisingly, headed to a place where we never wanted to go to. (and we thought we were smart kids.. haha. di pala marunong magbasa ng signs!) thus, we got to a place called lower calarian. it was really.. uhmm.. different, i guess. the people, the place, the smell. it was.. awful? i dunno. i shouldn't judge, but i can't help it. but seeing everything made me realize how lucky kids like i am are. i mean, we have nice homes, comfortable lives, we have almost everything at our beck and call. and yet, we do find ourselves craving for more than what we could have. lower calarian, however, is another story. staying there for not more than 10 minutes clearly showed a world of people who try and end up having to try harder. for short, medyo na-deprive sila ng chances. and it's so sad.

just a thought for my fellow kabataan.. we should be more than just thankful for living the lives we have. if any of you think that your lives can't be any worse, you're dead wrong. life is indeed unfair at times. we should just be relieved and thankful that we happened to land on the fairer side. ^_^

wee! it's this guy's birthday today! hehe. who's he? boyplen ko! hahahaha. kiddin'. ;)

so yeah.. it's been quite a while since i last put my heart into blogging. surprisingly, i find myself confined to books and sleep nowadays. i study, do homework, text a little, read, read, then sleep. i don't even watch TV except for weekends. my, my.. what happened to the couch potato in me? not that i miss that kinda life.. hehe. books rock! (haha!)

this week was fun, but i had to be absent for two consecutive days because of my research. ugh.. i have to work on that soon! well, as for the other days, we never really had class.. there's always an excuse not to have classes. yipee! hehe. oh, and last friday we had a tour of the power plant in sangali. it's AEMSHS's second time there but we had to do it anyway for the benefit of the freshmen students and my classmates who will be studying on fuel, air pollution and those stuff. and on our way back to school at around 12 noon, the teachers announced that we could take the rest of the day off. wee! ala na namang class! hahaha.

and yesterday was the first day of our celeb for nutri month. hmpf.. our dear principal won't allow us to have the celebration during weekdays so we had to do it on saturdays. ugh.. imbes na mag-rest na lang kame (and we do need to rest a lot. need ba?! hehe.), pahihirapan pa kame. amp talaga o.. so there, we had the slogan-making, essay-writing, and poster-making contests yesterday. haha. cm8s, sensia na keo sa mga sinulat ko. i'm totally uninspired. hahaha. bahala nah.. hmm.. we also had a film viewing. since ala pang superman returns dvd na available, we had to watch cars and x-men: the last stand. di ko napanood ang start ng cars (wiset na essay!) but i got the chance to watch x-men. waaahhh! i can't get enough of logan (and warren, too)! too bad love nia si jean. ugh.. jean.. hehehe. kiddin'.

it's a sunday.. again, it's the birthday of the guy above. and i'm gonna pick up his gift this afternoon. not only that, i have something else in my mind. but i'm still not really sure of it. again, bahala nah.. wish me luck anyway. :)
